Start Smart Overview
Start your relationship well with premarital training. Start Smart is a comprehensive premarital program that has 4 core elements:
- An Online Premarital Inventory: one of the most substantive and exhaustively researched premarital inventory in America
- The Start Smart Class: course provided by Today's Promise that teaches communication and conflict resolution skills
- The Start Smart Workbook: maximize the premarital experience with this workbook, packed with innovative exercises and meaningful content. This content will be beneficial for the class, and for years to come!
- *OPTIONAL: Three mentoring sessions with trained "Marriage Coaches"/mentors from area churches. Young couples benefit greatly from developing a relationship with marriage coaches - mentors who have the experience to help guide you through marriage's ups and downs.
An additional benefit for taking Start Smart is the $35 discount on your Florida marriage license for completing the course. With our class costing $25, Floridian participants are saving $10 by taking Start Smart!
